Calculation Method

BMI is your weight divided by the square of your height.

  • Metric: BMI = weight (kg) / [height (m)]²
  • Imperial: BMI = 703 × weight (lb) / [height (in)]²

Categories: Underweight < 18.5 · Normal 18.5–24.9 · Overweight 25–29.9 · Obese ≥ 30.
